Then in the afternoon we enjoyed 2 hours of babysitting and indulgently had high tea in the hotel, caught up with the blog and all our admin in advance of hitting India. Not very lateral, I know, but we reckon that just dragging 3 kids round Istanbul is pretty lateral! We now understand why people don't do city breaks with kids in tow. Bring on India....a cultural extravaganza! (How will the children....or us... cope?!)
