... holiday weekend, there was no traffic. The bus took 1.5 hours and though not nearly as comfortable as a coach bus, at least this time we were sitting. We arrived back in Harem, at the ferry port and a ferry was leaving in 20 minutes. Perfect!

... my thoughts. It is a simple matter to get to Iznik from Bursa: get to the otogar and find the mini-bus stand (not the mainline bus coaches, as I first thought). The road between Bursa and Iznik, much of it along side Iznik Göl (Lake) is shown with a parallel green line marking it as a "Route with beautiful scenery." It is.
