We walked around a bit more and headed back to the hotel. We got back to the hotel and hung out with the hotel staff for a while. They were two young guys who were there between semesters at school. We taxied back to the hotel (which took an hour even in the "light" version of traffic) and checked in, then wandered away from Sultanahmet to find an affordable restaurant.
After dinner we went back to the hotel to rest, since the previous two days had been so travel-intensive. It was nice to be staying in one spot for a while!
