Although I wished I could have seen more of the Byzantine/Medieval part of the town, I was actually in search of an enormous, smashed sarcophagus lying somewhere in the hills northeast of the city. Fortunately one of the guys at the taxi stand knew about it and was able to point it out on a map, so my cab driver and I didn't have any trouble finding it.
