Today we all went to Atatürk's Mausoleum as on fridays we go on a trip instead of lessons. I'd seen pictures of it before but I didn't realise how big it was. It was also guarded by lots of armed soldiers, and when we arrived we were just in time to see their version of the changing of the guards. It made me laugh when the soldiers were shouting their orders because they didn't really have the voices for it and their voices were breaking ...
... is no way Turkey would be as advanced, materially speaking, as it is today, no way.
The mausoleum of Ataturk though had a little bit of personality cult making. I watched a short movie at the mausoleum where it said "great leader, the whole nation is at your disposal..." That, I found a little weird. Nevertheless, I still left Ankara with a strong admiration of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha!
Back to Istanbul then Dubai!

Englischer Gartens. This is a large plot of land set aside for recreational use. A
river runs through the gardens where surfers surf and everyone is out
tanning, playing volleyball, and badminton. We had picnic of brie cheese,
