We failed "Snowman Building 101" !!!
... the other end of the township where a recreational lake is located. The surface of the lake is frozen - makes easy work of skimming stones, etc. Even tentatively tried to walk on the surface - all going well until we heard a sudden cracking noise and I made a quick exit back to the snowy water's edge. Easy to see how lakes turn into ice skating rinks in winter.
Walked home via the Mur riverbank pathway and wondered ...
South to warmer weather.
... had locals flying past us at incredible speeds. Many tunnels through this beautiful mountainous region - longest was 10.1km but there was another 8.3 km and many over a kilometre in length. Not great views but makes short work of the journey. Noted temperature climb to 16° inside longer tunnels and then plummet back to 0° once back into the open.

Road trip to Graz!
Stefan tog alltsa med oss till Graz för lite sightseeing under lördagen. Vi gick upp pa ett berg där det finns ett gammalt vakttorn och ett klocktorn. Fantastisk utsikt! Flertalet strider mot Napoleons styrkor har utspelat sig här. Det blev ocksa lite strosande pa stan och god glass pa ett café!

Helgbesök hos Stefans familj
Helgen spenderades i Großpetersdorf, hos Stefans mor och far. Otroligt spännande helg med manga nya upplevelser! Fredagkvällen inleddes med ett par öl tillsammans med Agnes och Fritz, Stefans föräldrar. Fantastiskt trevliga människor! Vi gick och sag en derbymatch med Stefans fotbollslag där han tidigare spelat och nu är aktiv pa andra sätt. Efter detta akte vi upp till en ...
