Two fab things today (3 if you count another Benji potty poo): new campsite discovery and new beach discovery. After a very leisurely waking up, breakfasting, croissanting, bike riding and park playing, we set off in search on the nearest Castels campsite. This is a nice site in many ways, but pitch size is not one of them. There isn't anywhere for the kids to play on the pitch, we haven't been able to put up the front extension and we have a very small amount of space between ...
... site are so much nicer. Did some washing, played some boule (until Bella lost the centre ball) rode bikes, ate lunch, sorted washing, played on pirate ship, played in park, caught up on some Kermode while Benji and hank went on a bike ride and Bella slept, are gorgeous pasta for tea and now in bed with Bella trying to convince her to settle down (half ten!) Oh and drinking lots of wine. Une belle jour indeed, if a little caffeine ...

Our first proper French sauce in months - it was worth ...
... fun had. Really nice just lolling in the sand chatting and playing. Came back to a Benji strop of magnificent proportions, let's just say the tent needed mopping after. Neither of us felt like cooking after that, so off to the bar for moules frites it was. Fine idea - tasty and not too pricy either. Bit of a play in the park and back home for an early ...
