Just can't beat this start to a vacation
1. Pick up the car in Milan airport with GPS (in English even). We landed at about 8a local time.
2. Drive to the village of Barbaresco on excellent roads. Boring scenery until we got to Asti, the "entrance" to Piedmont. Lovely rolling hills from that point.
3. Get to Barbaresco and find the street (note, not plural) closed because of a festival. Started to get annoyed until we ...
A day of cars and cinema
... but it seems that they took out all the building and kept only the envelope, inside they built ramps...so like the concept of the Guggenheim in NYC you can ascend up and see the exhibition at the same time.the view from the terrace was stunning only the winds forced us to go down The only problem was that the exhibition was not so good and after half an hour we went out...
