Longest Bus Trip Ever: Bahia - La Paz
Sorry no pictures for this one! Here is included an extract from an email (in French) sent to my family describing my longest bus trip ever going from Bahia, Brazil to La Paz, Bolivia. Including my stop-over in the Chapada Diamantina in Brazil, it took me around a week to get to La Paz from Bahia using 7 different buses and a few other transportation vehicles, jumping from one bus to another, visiting a lot a bus terminals and sleeping most of the nights in a bus!!

Lucky streak
... Now I am in the airport, waiting for my flight to Recife, to go visit Juliana (who was also au pair in New York). My host in Recife has a swimmingpool on his roof :) More luck haha!
I love airports, they make me feel so happy inside, I want to jump around in them singing made-up songs, but I am able to restrain myself in this (it's hard though, the urge is big!).

... a UFO. All the minesties have the same buildings except two of them. I could visit the national congress and it's two chambers, one with an opened bowl for the deputees, and the second one with a closed disc for the senate. The foreign affairs ministry was really great, almost like a museum. And the best was the Bom Bosco sanctuary and its night sky windows which delivers a very nice feeling when you enter. To have a ...
