... and the children above the kitchen in a separate building. It is filled with priceless treasures, and one 125 year old loaf of bread that was a gift from someone in Russia that is dry but not moldy! The best thing in both castles, to us, were the views of the surrounding countryside, the lakes, the mountains...and the views of the other castle! We left lovely Rothenburg this morning and hit the autobahn again. Packing up after only one night was hard. We have a ritual as we dress each day, making sure that we have our tour-required money belt on, and our little Ex Officio "pocket safes" that clip onto our bra straps and slip into that bra cup. From Fussen north to Wurtzburg is what all call the German Romantic Road. It is thus because of the wealth, power, culture, architecture and art generated during medieval times and beyond. The road moves through Bavaria north into Baden Wurttemberg. We met several couples in our camps at night who came to Germany to visit only this.
