Paris, France

Paris, France. As soon as me and Kaylah got off the plane we could see this was Paris. A mime was pretending to be trapped in a box. I stared at him in a weird way but Kaylah shouted out fabuleux which is french for fabulous as I found out. We stopped off at our hotel and it was lovely. A great view and was worth what we paid. $60 per night. Kaylah …

Bonjour everyone,

Well, got to admit despite all the buildings and museums some of the best moments in Paris were sitting down on our bums doing nothing. At Sacre Coeur with the crowd and buskers whilst the sun set was just priceless.
The old market square in Montmartre near the Sacre Coeur, the Eiffel tower at night, along with the …

Day 01: Paris

Landed in Paris in the morning, and immediately faced the language barrier trying to figure out how to reach Hotel Allegro from the Airport.
There were cabs, which were charging exorbitant rates and while we were at it, we also figured out, that we need some kind of an unlimited travel pass for the Metros / Buses in the …

... passport wallet in my bag, and then bought my RER ticket out to Denfert-Rochereau where the Orlybus leaves from. 20 minutes later, I was standing on the platform at Denfert, haunted by a niggling feeling that I was forgetting something. I knew this couldn't be the case, but figured I'd better check again just to put my mind at rest. Wallet, check. Camera, check. Tickets, check. Passport...oh ****. Where in the hell was my passport? Sure, I had ...

Very close to Metro station. Free wifi and very cheap for a room. If you go to Paris you must stay at the Allegro Hotel. Close to Supermarkets, laundromat and a local park too. Love this Hotel

    Hotel Allegro (Paris) Review

    Pros:
    - Very close to the Metro station.
    - Stone throw away from a Super Market.
    - Elevator (Which are not to be found in many places in Europe)
    - Rooms were not that great, but were decent, clean with AC, TV, Free Wi-fi, Telephone.
    - Bathrooms were clean and with all latest facilities.
    - Very nice breakfast, standard, but with warm breads and other vegetarian options.

    Cons:
    - Hallways to the rooms were not lighted enough.

Overall a decent hotel for a short stay if visiting for tourism purpose, when all that you need at the end of a tiring day is a nice bed to sleep, AC and some nice early morning breakfast.
