    We loved it so much yesterday that we planned to do it all again today. Not the same of course but a return to Venice as there's not actually much else to do here and it is such an amazing place that it deserves a return trip. They say you should never go back and I'm not sure if that is right or not but it's probably fair to say that today was not as much of a success as yesterday.     Sunday we returned to the airport with official tickets. Still we were nervous, I was starting to wonder if we'd ever get to Europe. But right on time we were called to board, not only that but we were bumped to first class :) You should have seen us, I was so excited. Just to be on the plane was pure happiness...add to that enough leg room for an NBA player and free drinks and I just about keeled over.

    ... is odd too. they're so close, covered, and crowded that at times it feels like you're waiting to get on a ride at disneyworld. the streets also twisst and turn with no rhyme or reason, loop you back to point a instead of taling you to point b, and best of all dead-ending with no warning. if we had had a tight schedule it would have been very frustrating, but in a way having no idea where we were ensured we saw much more of venice than ...
