    We loved it so much yesterday that we planned to do it all again today. Not the same of course but a return to Venice as there's not actually much else to do here and it is such an amazing place that it deserves a return trip.     ... canals. It was so much fun - very peaceful and romantic! The weather was much better today and so we decided to go and climb the tower in St Marks Square.. Sadly it was closed for restoration work and so we weren't able to do so. We then walked through the part of our island we hadn't been to and out to the Grand Canal.     ... we made it finally, to find there was only 15 mins per day internet access and the rest had to be purchased!

    The room is small (but yay, two single beds!) and a nice bathroom with bidet and doors out to a small, private courtyard about 2m x 1.5m. We later found out this was ideal as the windows in the bedroom opened to the laneway below and lots of noisy walkers-by. Shame about the mozzies though!
