... this wasn't as romantic as the movies but I managed to wrangle a selfie out of him. We went past where George Clooney was married last year, breaking the hearts of many and passed the Je suis Charlie unity March on the Rialto bridge. Post gondola ride we went to a lace and glass demonstration, two crafts which Venice is famous for. We stood in San Marco square horrified by the sacred pigeons and the people letting them land on them. Flying rats, I hate ...

Right now, I'm sitting in one of the many squares in Venezia while I wait for Hayley as she checks out one of the many museums here in Venice. ... architecture.

This sinking city has so much to offer, though I am directionally challenged and all the bridges look the same to me. Dinner was also nice; there was a small authentic restaurant just beside our place and the seafood risotto was delicious!

I can't feel my feet anymore, so an early bedtime will be super helpful after two days of travelling since leaving Vancouver!

... sights of St. Marco Piazza and then started our way along the canals and alleyways. Left - Right - it didn't matter; whatever looked more delightful. The best part was getting completely lost. We had no idea where we were, but we did find Mom's Venetian house. I loved being away from the crowd. The majority of the people we saw were working in little fruit stores or supermarkets. It took some time, but we made ...
