We were hesitant to leave today, both of us concerned about those tormentors. We purchased umbrellas yesterday and headed out at 8:00 this morning, figuring weather reports have be known to be wrong. We walked in rain off and on all day. We never had a thunderstorm, just a nice gentle rain. We joked, "umbrella up, umbrella down". Today was one of our favorite walks on the Camino. We walked up through a ...

The only reason they built the 2.5km funicular which is in a tunnel through the mountain is to get the bushwalkers and climbers a fair way up the mountain. Abseil faces about 300m high. Makes our cliffs look like kindergarten jumps.

Then comes the rain but we are tucked up by then so no worries. Saprano's it is ...

... not for me! I do a picturesque gentle undulating ride through the Valle De Camelona. Very impressed by Adrian's effort, it's so hot he has to ask some Spanish people for more agua, the children of the family give him high fives, I think they must have been impressed too. My Vuelta hero! Peaceful evening and more delicious food at the La Isla Campsite Bar by the River ...

... or spell. it is a broth with noodles with a dish of chick peas, lamb, pork and cabbage to mix in as you wish. It comes with dunking bread. It is the sort of thing you would eat on a winter's day in England and perfect after the cycle ride. Campsite pool when we get back and then siesta. Food here is served late, 8-12mn, campsite food is good, 8 choices of Paella, lots of pasta dishes, some tapas and lovely ...
