I left South Dakota happy. A beautiful state with plenty to see. I will try to revisit in the future. I should mention that my original plan to finish the trip before winter will not happen. Set out of Sheridan Lake and saw spectacular scenery, a couple deer, beautiful lakes on our way to Deadwood and Spearfish. Took the Spearfish Canyon road to the Spearfish Lodge for breakfast.
