Got up this morning to the roar of tractor trailers as our campsite was located adjacent to a state highway. But the campground had some good shower facilities so we all took the opportunity to shower up as we got kind of stinky from our hiking in the Badlands. We drove through pastures with free ranging buffalo and entered the main corral area. This is where the volunteers do an inventory of the herd, inoculate and brand calves, examine expectant mothers and decide which animals to sell at auction in a month.
