... bison. So tomorrow we have a full day to tour Deadwood (pronounced Slot Machines), Lead, and the rest of the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota. Oh, Spearfish, at one time, had the largest gold mine in the world. And why do they call it Deadwood? Ha, no jokes. Because the stream where they first found gold in Deadwood was full of dead trees.

... to the bus stop to catch Da Bus into Sturgis.  The first bus was packed before we got on, so we figured we might as well wait for the next one.  Although it was only us to start off with, the bus stop soon became full of people wanting to get on the same bus as us.  We managed to get seats on the bus and I think everyone fitted inside this time too. ... Sturgis, Deadwood and Spearfish. Stopped at the Spearfish Trout Hatchery and visited a few casinos in Deadwood. We even got to see a gun fight in the streets of Deadwood. We both entered a slot machine tournament today, but we didn't get enough points to win the big $1,000 jackpot. Denise won her first round for a whopping $10 prize though.
