      ... s star in a corner on the wall - because he didn't want anyone walking all over him. Checked out the beautiful Roosevelt Hotel across the road and walked up the red carpet stairs of the Dolby Theatre.

      We looked at Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Blvd and some of the beautiful Beverly Hills homes, checked out the sign - which is actually been remade in good old Aussie steel. Had lunch at the Farmers Markets.

      Today was an odd day, and the best way I can describe it is "going from uncomfortable to comfortable." That's also why this one might get a little long... I started my morning in the Downtown Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, after a night in my Dad's room. As I said in my last blog, everyone had left yesterday, and I had lost my toiletries bag between my move yesterday and here.       ... and walked over to the rental car shuttle stop. I had booked a car through Dollar, so we waited for the bus to take us to the off-site location. We waited, we waited, and we waited some more as multiple busses from all the other companies rolled by. After 20 minutes, the bus finally came and dropped everyone off at the rental place.       ... Mercedes overheard and offered to take me there. A very nice lady though over enthusiastic and not a good listener she ended up dropping me off at a beach further north roughly doubling my route home to a 13mile skate, pretty much all along the beach though and all good except my right leg that did the pushing is stiff as!
