All Seasons Nice Aeroport

After brekkie it was onto Menton which is a lovely little town just before the Italian border. Menton is a much more down to earth place than its neighbours and more our scene. We found a park right on the beach and went for a wander and took in sum much needed sun. Next stop Italia!!<br>

... we opted not to return to the Ruby Princess just yet. Instead we chose to visit the casino in Monte-Carlo. Here, we found where the rich and famous come to play! There were BMW's, Mercedes, Audi's, Porsche's, Ferrari's and even a Lamborghini. We even witnessed a Volkswagon wedding car. Hmm! A wedding in Monte-Carlo! Can you say $$$$$$$?<br><br>We couldn't make a visit to the casino without making a wager ...

... so there was a lot of walking up hills. What we didn't know before we got there was that the are apparently having an F1 Gran Prix there in a couple of days. Monte carlo isn't a big city and the roads are really winding and narrow. But the cars actually race through the city streets. ... and then layed out for a bit. The beach is a rocky beach but they had brought in a bit of sand so we layed out there. Brandon loved swimming in the water so he went in a few times while I tanned! ... was incredible, and worth every bit of the sleep deprivation. The next morning we slept in, went to breakfast and then headed back to Monte Carlo Beach for the day. The drive from Nice to Monaco during the day is absolutely breathtaking and so surreal... the views are so amazing that they look like photographs...
