... We needed some food and I figured souvlaki should be fine - two Yiro's, fries and drinks $38... My goodness. We spent time on the beach but with the wind and temperature we thought it best not to try and brave the waters. There is a nice walkway slog the water in either direction, a large casino complex, lots of ice cream and beach food places. ... we went, through Cape Otways beautiful forrest scenery. I had read that a small detour along the road to a light house is lined with Koala filled eucalyptus trees. Sure enough, as if someone had placed them there, we saw three, one even climbing down the tree to say hello. Next stop was Apollo Bay and our hostel for the night, a very low key, hippy-ish place.
