... was, for the first time in Aus, very very disappointing :-(

10th - Kingston done and dusted, we hit the road at 10am, amidst gale force winds, but thankfully no rain to continue our road trip, now along the Limestone Coast towards Warrnambool for a couple of nights - another 2nd choice destination, as we had been told that Port Fairy was the place to stay, but again fully booked. Stops today were mainly for comfort breaks, but we did enjoy a spot of sightseeing ...

... and talked until about 7:20pm when Duane gave us a lift to the bus stop so we would get back in time to see the 9pm fireworks at Elder park.

Got a call from the YHA saying that the trip and been over-booked and they'd try and get us on the trip for the 5th, as very annoyed at their incompetence. We popped to Woolworths ad got some food for later, the headed back to the hostel.

That evening the gang arrived, and as we had all travelled a fair bit to get there we decided to make the most of our lovely apartment and cook some homemade food and have a good catch up. Yesterday we headed into town in the late afternoon and enjoyed a few large German beers. As we decided to head back we were called into a courtyard just on the main street where a few of the local shop owners were having some post work beers. It was great fun but we are feeling the effects this morning!
