... It's not what we expected, it's like Miami with lots of high rises. We had a nice surprise that we have a small apartment with our own kitchen and bathroom and living room that we share with one other couple. Yesterday we just chilled out on the beach before I made us chicken satay curry for dinner, watched tv and got an early night! Today we had a lazy morning and wandered to the beach for an hour or so before having a look around ...

They one one of their four pool matches and therefore got eliminated, ...

I had to kill 2.5 hours before my flight so I went to find a good magazine to buy for the read on the plane. I grabbed a latte and before I knew it I was on-board.

The flight took about 3 hours and they fed us a casserole of vegetable and steak pie. I landed at Christchurch airport. I caught ...

... day. We went to the beach which was gorgeous. It reminded Heather and I of what we think Miami or LA would look like. Very much oriented to the tourist and the beach lovers. We had brunch before doing some tanning and shopping. We also booked a tour for later in the evening. Around noon we headed back to the hostel to check in and put our bags into the locked room. This hostel is in dire need of updating. The locks on the lockers are mostly broken and the ...
