      ... the mountain and we enjoyed the breeze whilst we ate our fantastic lunch. There is an incredible view eastwards towards Surfers Paradise on the coast. Plenty of water vapour hung in the air and the city's skyscape was only just visible when we got to the pub's gardens.       ... having learnt all about them in the show, we found the Mum's and joeys. I hadn't realised they are marsupials as are kangaroos, wallaby's, Tasmanian devils etc. apparently Koalas don't make good Mums.
      What we found was a smaller joey, around 7 months old. It popped its face out. I went back for the third time and found it on its Mums back.

      ... all day right to the very end... For all of us... Well except Zoe, we she got too scared to ride the big rides. It was probably because the first ride we went on was the Spooky Scooby Doo roller coaster, where much of the insaneness happens in near total darkness.

      Me and Moses both admitted that the American couple in our room back in Cairns, did our head's in. They were the weirdest couple I've ever met. Not that I have a problem with people who have wonky eyes, but both these unfortunate souls had wonky eyes, and wore the type of glasses that magnify the **** out of this. This accentuated their 'eye wonkiness' even more.
