Today we completed the last leg of our journey to Christchurch. We arrived late morning, our motel room at the Riccarton Road Motel was not yet ready so we just left the car and caught a bus into town. We had been advised that we could purchase a multi-ticket deal for the 4 'must do' of Christchurch- they were the Botanical Garden, the tram tour, the Gondola and Punting on the river - which we did so. This morning we had planned a walk around the city centre. So it was up early, breakfast, and out. Well the good weather is back. 28c today so it was off to explore the City of Christchurch.

We started the day with Stretch and Abs class as we sailed into the harbor of Akaroa. This is another magnificent harbor, the caldera of an extinct volcano. We took our time getting ready as we had to catch the tender into town. Warren wanted to do the morning trivia also. So we got off at about 11.00 and wandered through the town.
