Of course I will miss everyone, but at the same time i'll have the time of my life. It is truly going to be amazing. I will be looking forward to coming home and seeing all of you, and showing lots and lots of pictures. :)

... swift journey through Alabama with sunny Florida as our destination. We stopped for the night at Ozark and were amazed to watch the temperature on the gauge in the car rise almost by the minute. It went from the 54 degrees at Shelbyville to 84 when we arrived at Ozark, a distance of about 300 miles. Yvonne liked the idea of staying at Ozark for as tenuous a reason as those ...

Up I-75, exited at Ocala (I can't resist backroads). had'nt taken this stretch of 27 before. It's Florida's Route 66. Up through Bronson and beyond, you see the delapidated remnants of roadside motels and attractions...once popular when this was the main route to the state capitol (Tallahassee). A ...
Dothan, Alabama, United States sbefera... off to sleep listening to the night sounds. This is the last night I am going to be able to do that. The night is so rich with activity. I'd like to have a recorder just to take it all in and be able to bring it home with me. Alas, I do not. So I will have to savor it as I drift into dreamland on this final evening in Alabama.
Ewell, Alabama, United States tmarooch... brings me water and aspirin, which is exactly what I need. He becomes my hero yet again! Finally I find it in me to pull myself out of bed. The family is already back from breakfast and hanging out together watching "I Heart Huckabees." I join them for the end before donning bathing suit and heading out to the pool with Hannah. We enjoy the rays and some nice conversation. Justin joins us eventually and even Cullen ...
Ozark, Alabama, United States tmarooch... important. We arrived at the church with plenty of time despite leaving a bit later than we'd planned. After being seated by an usher, I decided to move to the other side so that I would have a better view of Justin during his song. I wanted to snap some photos. Jen came in shortly after me with her husband Jared and we three sat together. The ceremony went off without a hitch despite the flower girl that wouldn't follow the plan. She ...
Ozark, Alabama, United States tmarooch... afternoon doing some more relaxing before getting ready for the rehearsal dinner. Justin's Aunt Anne arrived with her two Schnausers shortly before it was time to head over to the church for the rehearsal. With so many folks and so many dogs in the house, I think Justin felt it would be better to just get moving, so we hitched a ride with Hannah over to the church. We were some of the first people there, so we had to hang for a bit before the actual ...

Zeke must have brought it up and chased it back down again 5 times before either of us even had a chance to throw it for him. It is a gorgeous morning with the cicadas buzzing and the sun shining down on us. The heat is not stifling, so it is a really nice ...
Ozark, Alabama, United States tmarooch... seems to be a good sized town with a lot of building and growth signs - new Target, Home Depot, Best Buys and the like. We have know idea what is driving all of this growth in this part of the state. We asked the waitress at Calastoga Steak House ( not bad - average steak and fair prices) what industry they have in town and all she could come up with was peanuts... not sure that is behind all of the growth - we will let you know if we find out more tomorrow. Responding to a ...
