      ... day,, very high & impressive. Arrived late, 6 pm at the refuge. Very crowded . We have a longm me wooden bench with pillows & donnas lined up very close together. Probably beyond acceptable, considering what. Have paid & booked for. Still it will be an interesting night. poor Kris is next to the painfull kevin. Managed a shower, 2 showers for 60 odd walkers.       ... is the old port of Echuca that we've come to see. We've already been down there and looked at the old paddle steamers and finally paid for our tickets.

      Our day began in our lovely cabin in the woods with us waking to the dawn chorus. We didn't close any curtains so were able to see the moon and stars when we went to bed and then we watched the bush wake up.       Departed home around 11.15 to travel a full circle around the road back to home as we had forgotten the basket of maps. We were heading for Tocumwal when we got to Shepparton and decided we would cut over to Echuca and surprise Shane and Lorraine. Lorraine cooked a beautiful roast pork well worth the detour. Sat around the fire with Andy playing the guitar and Shane trying to sing.

      ... it as snacks instead. That way we might actually have dinner, not that we need to eat after our big luncheon! I think I've written this before, more than once! This ended up being a good plan as Nat had sent across her job application for the position she currently has, and we had the privilege of checking it over. It was really interesting and I wouldn't hesitate to give Nat the job: she is a fantastic teacher!
      We finished the meal with chocolates and port. Happy times!
