... us a little under $30 ea. Bodrum Castle was built between 1406-1522, not easy to manoeuvre the steps as some were very steep and very uneven. The castle housed many artefacts, some glass which dated back to 14th century BC. Some in good condition, others that were damaged. During the late 1800's the castle was used as a prison, then restored and opened to the public in 1991.
