    ... for us with a glorious sunny day, only a bit chilly in the afternoon. Just before returning home Jenny took us to her favourite tea house where we had delicious cups of tea in cute teapots and jenny and amy had caramel crepes. Another night in the apartment now cooking our own dinner -lucky there is a supermarket down the road.     ... one car, multitudes of shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafes. Everything in europe is so much smaller, more intimate, closer, connected. Going out to get a bite to eat or buying something at the store means a 5 minute walk, instead of a 5 minute drive like in the US. Interesting seeing how cities built with people in mind, instead of cars, have developed. In the US, if you really want to, you can basically go your whole day without really interacting with anyone.
