... has been a bit weird. The people; amazing. Friendly, honest, nice, helpful, funny...The beaches, beautiful for the most part. The food, unreal! But the entire island experience has just been ruined by the floods of tourist. I know, I am one too, and I can't expect to have an Island to myself (or should I?) but man, its jyst crazy. I picture myself, alone on these beaches and it warms my heart. I picture these beaches and Islands 20-30 years ago. They must have been amazing. Clean ...

... our first real experience with a volunteer place. We learned a lot about our self and what we want and what we can expect from places like this. For us it is for sure that we wanna go on with work aways, but next time we will definitely not sign in for three weeks. Instead we wanna look out for place were we can work on shorter terms. This gives us the chance to figure out how much we like a place without taking any responsibilities for to long.

... was a huge stage and music and... A breakdancing group! I love breakdancing, I watched it for hours while in Amsterdam years ago. Back to the race... We watched the longest opening ceremony, including speeches from government officials, city officials, and sponsors. Then there was a fashion show of some kind, then a fitness instructor for warm ups, the warm up took ages, and was comparable to a half hour aerobics class at home! I'm going to collapse before the ...
