... as I took the picture. They might have been called there just in case the shoe demonstration got messy. We had lunch at the Virgin Blanca restaurant on the Virgin Blanca plaza. Both named after the White Virgin that adorns a prominent spot in the plaza. Great lunch - much too much food, though. ... to tell them I wouldn't worry about getting the bike until after 1pm. The guy at the bike shop couldn't really have cared less and I had to converse with him using google translate. The walking tour of the old quarter had 3 other Aussies - a couple from Wollongong and a lady from Melbourne. ... we stopped at a more commercial wine store which was the house of wine for the town of Margaux. The charismatic shop attendant allowed us to have some tastings and a wander around the shop admiring some very expensive bottles of wine. This was our second attempt to visit San Sebastian. The first was all the way back in Feb when we were in Barcelona. The original plan was to travel from Barcelona to San Sebastian but the weather at that time was awful with pouring rain in forecast.
