Awake at 6:30 so we decided to take a 2.5 mile walk around Alice Springs before breakfast. Found a Geocache and swapped two PWS coins for two Travel Bugs from Germany & England. Lazing around pool until transfer arrives for flight to Uluru (Ayers Rock) at lunchtime. Told its 41 degrees in Uluru! Three quarters of an hour later we land at Uluru …

... pleasantly surprised at how docile our camel was. Brett volunteered to stay on the ground and be photographer. After visiting the shop for some camel facts and history we headed back to Alice Springs to pick up some souvenirs.

... on the way back to our apartment take a look at the Rockalong gallery. This is a hobbyist with a large yard full of local rocks, of a type called okapi, zebra, leopard. One can imagine from the names what the colouring of the rock is like.
