... to be seen to be believed. We went over to the bar at happy hour (5 o'clock) and waited for our Beef and Barra. There were heaps of people and it was really well organised. We had the best damper I have ever tasted. Just before the sun went down the live music started, country and western, which all added to the atmosphere.

What was good was hearing the Magpie sing on cue, he told us about their song and then the Magpie obliged us with a song. We spent the next 2 nights at a 1000,000 acre cattle station called Curtin Springs and we used this as a base for our trip to Uluru.
