... Tacos for lunch then we hit the road for Alice Springs.

Tonight we will all check into our accommodation and then all meet up for dinner. It was eally cool how we all have gotten along and become very close over the past 6 days! I’m going to miss this group SO MUCH!

... set up our $11 sleeping bags in and dump our bags, it was muggy and damp in the tent, I had a sneaking suspicion we wouldn't get a fabulous nights sleep. Not up to much this morning, just taking a slow walk around Alice whilst waiting for train. Mum can't sit still and keeps wondering off to listen to other people's conversations to find out if they are on the Ghan with us. I think she is worried about not getting a seat!
