... We went for an afternoon stroll and I had to wear my chunky cardigan. Can't believe the difference to just a month ago, when we first arrived in Alice Springs, when it was 35 degrees! To warm ourselves up in the evening I cooked us an Indian takeaway, so it felt almost like a normal Saturday night (minus the group of drunken family members of course!). We had a spicy chicken tikka massala, jasmine rice, poppadoms (brilliant invention to do them in the microwave!) and even mango chutney.
