... so they could have our little table. Well at this point I'm not leaving even if the ship is sinking at the dock. Didn't help they would not speak English either. Well, I had extra water, unwanted dessert, and then sat there till every ice chip in my glass had melted. Donna wanted to leave, but I managed to hold her off until their party had gotten comfortable at another table making it a pain for them to move. I hate people, but we haven't left the dock yet it will get worse ...

... was hot, but we could see the rain clouds forming. It did start to spot rain, but nothing too hard and we must have looked like typical tourists driving along in the rain with the roof still down. It really was not raining very much and we were driving away from the clouds, so left the roof down. It didn't last long and we got away from the rain clouds & back in the sun again before we knew it. At one point there was a big work truck blocking the road, with a sign saying road ...

... couple from Oklahoma. His name was Chuck, hers was Michele. They talked to us for a couple of hours about living in Europe while in the military, and gave us great info for our trip. Sunset over the ocean was fabulous. We had the back of the ship almost to ourselves to watch it. We then made our way up for a late dinner after sunset. We thought we had a pretty sweet table by the window for a quiet dinner for two. ...

    ... the Priority line.

Security wasn’t too bad, and we went right to the gate. Rob went to grab a few snacks, and we were boarding in about 15 minutes. I didn’t try for the upgrade to first class. Flight was uneventful, and we arrived in a snowy NYC on time.

At baggage claim, we checked our bags, and they were on our original flight. I decided to stay back and wait for them (they’re due to arrive at ...

    The Epic IS Epic

    Up. At 'em.

8.3 miles. Shower. Took the 11:00am Shuttle to The Epic. Check in was fast; after a 15 minute delay in the Port Miami boarding lounge, my group was called to board the Epic. I took the elevator (the only time I will do that) to Deck 12 but the cabin wasn't ready yet. I knew that because the private hallway that leads to the Studio Cabins had a sign saying so. I schlepped my carry-on bag up as high as I could go to Spice ...
