          A beautiful morning to wake up to in our cabin at Lake Patricia. No urgency this morning. Time for spotting chipmunks collecting pine cones in the trees and taking then away. Also time for the girls to spend an hour on the lake canoeing. After breakfast in town we hit the road. Winding out of the Canadian Rockies. Then several hours on the wide highway across to Edmonton.           ... amidst the noise and bustle, but fortunately it was also full. We were amazed because this is the first full campground we’d come across on our whole trip. So, we were forced to move on to the next little town, Kitscoty which apparently had a campground. Here we found, to our delight, the opposite of Lloydminster… a very sleepy little grain elevator town with a very big greenspace of ball fields and a golf course alongside the very basic ...

          ... bill. The historical sites for me were just icing on the big cake I already had.
