And, they share relevant and interesting information! And, as you will see on the attached video, our new host, Peter, is gradually coming out of his shell!! This experience confirms my belief that attitudes are modeled and established from the top!! Well, we just made about a 40-minute stop in Edmonton, our last stop before our arrival in ...

In spite of the high-five to the finish line, things were not well in Camp Shanks. A niggling lower calf/achilles, which had been fine in the aquathlon decided to go 'ping' at the 3km mark, and after stopping, then keeping going, we think he easily lost about 15 places with just getting to the ...

I got to Edmonton early one morning, having spent the night on the train. This was fine except I think the driver had been trying to make up for lost time by travelling at something close to warp speed. I say close to because it was actually pretty bumpy and uncomfortable, even lying down, so when I got off the train I found I was still swaying. ... oh well, we'll clean all that up when the temperatures make it bearable to go out there.

We're glad to be home and its great sleeping in our own bed again. We still have a few days of brutally cold weather to contend with before it warms up next week. For our American friends, the low last night here was -32 Celsius or about -22 F......that's cold !!!

Thanks for following our journey and we look forward to seeing and hearing from everyone.
