So that's where all the tourists went. To the south coast of Algarve. Mind you, I can understand them, the beaches are certainly pretty here in Lagos, and the historic town center does have a lot of character (and restaurants). It's just that the contrast with the empty campgrounds of west Alentejo and Vicentine coast is pretty extreme.
