Just had a wonderful week with the girls in the Algarve, Portugal. A great way to spend mid term break. After a bit of searching I managed to find cheap airfares from Leeds and booked a very nice Hotel thru Booking.com Great value.

The Alfagar Hotel was fabulous! Best place we have stayed yet. A touch of luxury with 4 pools, waterslides …

... but its clean. Add endless cheap bars and grog (A bottle of drinkable wine sells for as little as €1, a bottle of vodka €3 – I’m not kidding you) to the serenity and viola. So many good times had and memories taken!

To Son, Case, Gem and all the other chikos from the week in Lagos, bless. So much fun, can't wait to surf, party and/or burst ear drums with you again soon!

    Happy days!

Since it was near to low tide we were able to walk between the rocks to another beach one ...

... We find that our hostel is just around the corner of our small arid car park garden, which is good for later memories and finding our way home. The dinner was delicious and for the first time Briony isn’t sitting across from me guess who takes aim at the seat……… You betchya! Sok alive and in the flesh. The food was great but dinner was ruined! I had a huge steak and it was so damn tender you could almost put your knife down and spoon that stuff! After ...

So annoyed that my phone died for the whole first day we were in Lagos. So no cool photos of the beach or their neat little town centre. Unless I steal Emma's photos. The beach was beautiful. White sand beaches with crystal clear water that looked devine. But it was deceiving. It was bloody freezing. So freezing there was no chance ...
