The old town is something that I cannot describe in detail. The short days mean we emerge from lunch at 3pm with the sun gone..we are in darkness each day around 3. The fairy lights make it so pretty though and although it is cold, we scenes around us help us to be distracted. Only 2 metro stops and we are in Gamla Stan. A smooth disembarkation and on the road to Nykkoping via the E4 without any problems. We found a very nice stopover on our third attempt, whilst the previous ones were OK the third one was super, about 58 miles on the road south. It was at Stavsjovagen with excellent facilities for motor homers and a designated rest place for those on the road. So, it's time for me to finally get out of the comfort of buildings and get to feel the cold, the snow. I get off of the train station ready to take the bus and then!...
