Recovery day to the country

A travel blog entry by helenstephen on Jun 07, 2015

The celebrations continued for Dave until the early hours of the morning so we didn't see him Sunday! We did spend our last full day with his folks as they kindly took us for an hour and a half drive to their holiday house, on the east coast.

The Grad Dance Afternoon

A travel blog entry by helenstephen on Jun 06, 2015

Linköping is renowned for holding top quality celebratory dances of this kind in Sweden and with all the hundreds of hours of dance practice that Dave put in, that must be true. It was even better that he has followed in his fathers footsteps, going to his same school and with this sort of dance as in the past. A travel blog entry by helenstephen on Jun 05, 2015

The airforce base where it is located also houses the ...

Gamla Stan

A travel blog entry by kazlang on Dec 10, 2014

The old town is something that I cannot describe in detail. The short days mean we emerge from lunch at 3pm with the sun gone..we are in darkness each day around 3. The fairy lights make it so pretty though and although it is cold, we scenes around us help us to be distracted. Only 2 metro stops and we are in Gamla Stan. We make the most of the day light with a walk around the palace, catch the finish of the changing of the guard, take as many photos of the area as we could. We ...
