It was a long day going from Muscat to Larnaca (Cyprus). I caught the bus back to Dubai at 3pm; then, after arriving in Dubai at 10, the metro to the airport; then waited for my flight which left at 6.30am. Stopped for freshly squeezed orange juice and a bit of a rest which was much needed. Old town explored we then took the 5 minute drive to ...

Thurs 28th May - Our first visitors arrive this evening so we were up and spent a couple of hours tidying up and generally making sure there were no bugs in their room! Breakfasted and showered before then heading down to Supreme supermarket for a bit of a shop for supplies and then just over the road to the fruit and veg stall. Spent the equivalent of 6 for loads of salad, fruit and vegetables.....great choice. Home and packed everything away and time for lunch. We had cheated and bought ...
