    ... spinach. They must've had a different Chef in as the food was even better than usual. The lamb especially was cooked to perfection. To avoid any dramatic outbursts, we refrained from drinking (too much) and had an early night, in preparation for my early flight.
    It has been a truly amazing trip and I'm so glad that my parents decided to buy our family home here in Corfu. I imagine I will be spending of lot of time here and i can't wait to return.

    ... it's nice to mix it up occasionally. By the time we left at 11, the rest of Corfu had decided it was time for dinner. Not sure I could be a chef here, you'd never sleep. Not at night anyway.
    It's our last day in corfu tomorrow.

    Gun shot update : No sounds coming from dowstairs apartment anymore. Still silent. Been asking my myself, who really is Kaizer Soze ? Oops. I meant Michael Kaiser. Must be getting tired.

    ... time we'd all met up we were all in the need of a siesta.
    We returned to place that cannot be named, (actually its called Mpakalogatos) and again opted for the pork knuckle and red peppers, but this time we also had the appropriately named 'drunkards mezze'. The food was excellent again, and the place was packed out. We left around 1am, and stumbled back home, full and just a little bit tipsy.

    ... dispersed with the crowd and were driven back home by the rain.
    After a few hours of lounging around doing nothing much, we decided British weather called for British food, so we set off to a British expat haunt named Sally's in Ipsos. Arriving just as the sky opened up, we found the place was convincingly British, complete with a pool table, a darts board and smokey bar full of tattooed men drinking from cans. My parents ...

    ... been slow cooked to point where the fat melted, and the meat became soft and sticky. The mushroom stifado was also a high point, flavoursome and surprisingly meaty.
    The host was one of the only other people drinking alcohol. His obviously recognised use as kindred souls and proceeded to ply us with free drinks. We sampled his homemade Jaeger, tsipouro and ouzo, saying 'Yamas' each time. Eventually he was chastised away by his wife, and he ...
