    A lovely city. Magnificent buildings - as well as the usual sandstone elaborate constructions, Glasgow adds a red coloured sandstone. Many public buildings with clock towers, turrets, and elaborate gargoyles and decor. Set out this morning and walked into the city heading for the cathedral.     ... Italian meal. Then we visited a bar where they must have had about 200 different varieties of whiskey. AND it was only a 'Gordon ten minute walk' from the restaurant. Needless to say we didn't try the whole stock, and when the barman found out we were visiting from NZ said "as your with the big man the first round is on the house". Very hospitable.
