Two Hours in Glasgow

... the driver pointed us to a different train, that would takes 40 minutes less if we went to Queen st station instead of central. (Which is still very central anyway) So that was nice of him! The train ride was quite uneventful, and we got into Glasgow quite quickly. When we got in, we went for a walk around the city trying to look for a hostel. We did a few laps of the most central part of the city, and couldn't find any. And all three of our phones were dead.... So we decided ...

Good Morning Glasgow- someone up there loves me! I had the room to myself (there was supposed to be 3 other people in here) AND the SUN WAS SHINING when I got up!

My hostel is located right on the River Clyde, it is so beautiful (but dirty looking water) to have woken up with a city view from my room on one side and the river on the other. I must say, my travel book has been super on point with the hostel suggestions thus far.

... down to the main street level and there was a great restaurant called Persia. Delicious food and not too badly priced. We walked our hood a bit, got some groceries and are now back in the hotel and it is 9:30 and time to get ready for some sleep.

Hopefully the weather will continue to be nice tomorrow and we can go and see some of the sites of Glasgow and actually take some pics to share.

... we are usually out and about anyway and if we are having a rest day it's still nice to walk down the block and hunt something down. We usually have sandwiches or baguettes from corner stores or over-the-counter places, or soup from a cafe or restaurant. Soup is always cheap and tasty, and different countries make all kinds of different flavours so we never get bored.

If we are in a hostel with good kitchen facilities, we usually go to a supermarket and make dinner. We eat ...
