... for the Shroud viewing, but not crowded. Much of Turin has been restored by the Agnelli/Fiat family, who are the mega rich ruling family of today. The Fiat enterprise now owns Chrysler group, making Alfa Romeos, Jeeps, Lancia's, Daimler- Benz , but a lot of the car makings done overseas. I got to Turin late Wednesday afternoon and made it to my hostel or rather Tomato Backpacker’s Hotel (if anyone’s looking for a slightly nicer hostel that still ...

... get crazy busy there. From Milan to Turin there were about 5 people in our car of the train. Pretty quiet. Perfect for napping. Which I did :) Turin is quite pretty if you head down to the river. From there you can see the hills and trees and some pretty houses and parks. The rest of the city is just like other cities. It's pretty but nothing really to write home about. Old buildings, but really nothing spectacular. We've def seen more pretty places so far. ...
