The drive back to Chania didn't take long, we headed for the sports area with the sandy coves. When we arrived it was busy with people taking their daily exercise, walkers some with dogs, some with prams, joggers and cyclists were completing circuits if the park. We went for a walk up over the headland following a path that weaved in between boulders and shrubs, we could see some people swimming in the cove it looked very inviting. After coffee we took our chairs ...

It's another beautiful day, we exercised Logan on the beach before driving to Chania. The route we took was over the hill back to Almyrios, we really like this area. We parked on the sea front for coffee, whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, Les noticed that there was a gash in the tyre wall, he decided it wasn't safe to continue driving on it and after coffee he changed it. Before we left to drive to Georgioupoli, a couple if English men stopped to chat, they lived in the next village. They both thought we were very ...

At one of our photo stops we met a couple from Argentina, they had left their camper on the main land and had hired a car to tour Crete. They took some photos of Dream Catcher and said they really liked it.
We dropped down to Sougia an undeveloped resort with a waterfront promenade lined with many tavernas. It is of ...

After a very stormy night with thunder endlessly rattling around the mountains we awoke to continuing wind and rain. We hadn't set the alarm so we had a late start. House keeping did some washing as there is somewhere undercover to hang it and with this wind it should dry. Next we took advantage of the free wifi and caught up with new year messages and the blog, we sat inside the cafe and chatted to the German man who has a camper parked here. He comes here with ...
