      ... we needed was closed for repairs, we had to follow a diversion for quite a way. It's a good job that we have a map, when we rejoined the main road there wasn't any indication of which way to go to get back to where the turning that we needed was. As we dropped into Paleochora the storm was in full force, we stopped at the supermarket, the locals were double and treble parked to be as close to the doors as possible.       Another windy night and it's wet this morning. We spent some time sorting the photos to post on today's blog and then prepared to move on.

      After a stormy night we set off to drive onto the west coast. As we left Gramvousa peninsular there were a couple of men in the road by some olive groves, we slowed down and could see a deer in the groves, one of the men appeared to be chasing it.
