Travel Blogs from Berlin

Berlin, Germany

We had an uneventful train ride from Frankfurt to Berlin that left around noon and lasted for three+ hours. When we arrived in Berlin we were a little confused by the five level train station, the largest we had been in so far. Like all other european train stations it didn't have wifi (what the hell) so we tried to figure out the difference between the S-bahn system, the RE system and the U-bahn system, ourselves. It's as if I have been in this weird time warp here, a part of me feels as though I've been in Germany for months and another part of me feels like I got here yesterday. Like I ...

Shopping Day

... s sandals that she brought had snapped so she needed another pair as well. Rita offered her washing machine so I dropped off my laundry before we headed out and then picked it up on our way back. We remembered our route to the mall, and purchased our sandals. I was praying asking God for shoes that would only be $10 or 6 euros and he answered my prayers. I was able to buy croc jandals for 5 euros which were comfortable, not too ugly like the standard crocs. I was also able ...
