    ... of wine. The staff were exceptional and scored a 10 out of 10 when it comes to customer service it takes a lot to impress me. We settled in and then booked a night tour for that night which included a meal.     ... of the porthole is just above water level and we have been told that when going through the locks we will be below the waterline. Might see some ducks feet or fish.     I guess I will start right where I left off. Friday evening we arrived at Hotel van Oranje, which is right on the coast in Noordwijk, Netherlands. Like I formerly mentioned, we chose to stay a little bit further out from Amsterdam because we wanted to be close to the tulip gardens that we were going to on Saturday, and because Hotel van Oranje is owned by Mariott (where all of our hotel points are).     ... going back to the 1600's, but the influences of many cultures were evident. We could see double Buses and Trams going about their day in a frenzied but orderly fashion and then there were bikes, everywhere there were bikes, more than either of us had imagined or seen, we fixed on the taxi stand. I asked the closest "how much" but I didn't really care, I just wanted to get to the apartment and sit down with a nice cup of tea (how very British of me!).
