I guess I will start right where I left off. Friday evening we arrived at Hotel van Oranje, which is right on the coast in Noordwijk, Netherlands. Like I formerly mentioned, we chose to stay a little bit further out from Amsterdam because we wanted to be close to the tulip gardens that we were going to on Saturday, and because Hotel van Oranje is owned by Mariott (where all of our hotel points are). ... the rain had left many stranded in the hostel and the steep steps were covered in a stinky smokey marijuana haze. We walked up them quickly with held breath. The rain became drizzly showers in the afternoon so we made the most of it and left the hostel, walking around the museums and the famous 'iamsterdam' sign. We had wanted to go into the Van Gogh museum but it was unexpectedly closing an hour and a half early today, and ...

... you need to read the book before you go as my brother and sister hadn't read the book so they were constantly asking questions. Holland is the last place in Europe other than the U.K, which we aren't referring to as part of the Europe trip as we are just seeing family and doing nothing else. So we now have less than 3 weeks before we come home on the 10th of August. I'll see you guys on the 13th of August as we arrive in Australia on the 12th. Goodbye until ...
