... to do. Yes we bought and consumed a certain amount of Belgian chocolate! Some shops only sell it by the box, some by the piece. Those were, of course, our favourites! Also, what else would you eat in Belgium? Think about it! Belgian waffles of course. That's what we had for lunch. Before you knew it it was time to go back to the train station. We did not take the straightest route but gave ourselves time and scouted out a nice scenic route with enough time for ...

I guess I will start right where I left off. Friday evening we arrived at Hotel van Oranje, which is right on the coast in Noordwijk, Netherlands. Like I formerly mentioned, we chose to stay a little bit further out from Amsterdam because we wanted to be close to the tulip gardens that we were going to on Saturday, and because Hotel van Oranje is owned by Mariott (where all of our hotel points are). Amsterdam is truly a city unlike any other I had seen. I was so excited to be able to travel here, and especially to get to go for more than just two days, since I no longer have school to be worrying about! I'm onto my next travels now, and will be spending the next week or so in Germany! This now means that in the four months here, I have successfully traveled to 10 countries, an accomplishment I never in my wildest dreams thought I could have achieved.
