    In the Land of Schnitzel

A travel blog entry by jamesbutrico on Mar 14, 2015

That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp! I have officially set foot in Germany. (even if it's just an airport) We have a layover here, I think it's supposed to be three hours. Shouldn't ...

Sometime last week, we found out that GM is speaking with the German union board (or something fancy like that) about cutting ...

For the past few weeks we have been enjoying several German Christmas traditions -- including visiting numerous Christmas Markets, St Nicolas day (6 Dec) and even had our First Snow day just a few days before Christmas.

Of course - being away from home, we miss our own traditions and this year we embarked in attempting to make tamales at home. They came out great !!!

    Miss ya :)
