After a nicely-catered flight on Singapore Airlines (endless food and drinks served in a first class fashion!), we woke up (John slept little to not at all, Sally and Jill not much more!) flying over Ireland around 8:00 in the morning (1 AM central time). The last two hours of the flight was catered with a nice breakfast.

We arrived in Frankfurt around 10:40 in the morning and ...

... per device. We decided it wasn't worth it to pay that much. I asked if the hotel had a business center with computers for people to use. After a bit of a hassle, I was able to use the Internet for 30 minutes and the manager waived the 2E fee for that. I tried to post this yesterday, but I ran out of time. Sometime last week, we found out that GM is speaking with the German union board (or something fancy like that) about cutting ...

For the past few weeks we have been enjoying several German Christmas traditions -- including visiting numerous Christmas Markets, St Nicolas day (6 Dec) and even had our First Snow day just a few days before Christmas.

Of course - being away from home, we miss our own traditions and this year we embarked in attempting to make tamales at home. They came out great !!!

    Miss ya :)
