Cabelas - somewhere other than Walmart
... La Crescent and stopped to cook dinner by a lovely view point overlooking a wildlife & fish refuge on the upper Mississippi River. After dinner we carried on and over the border into Iowa and then crossed a bridge into Wisconsin arriving at the Cabelas store car park that we planned to overnight in. Once we'd checked that it was ok to park in, we settled in, watched a Hotel Babylon and got off to bed at a reasonable 11pm.
