... Vienna opera house, street musicians performing in the streets. Vienna is a shoppers dream, which I would compare with London, Paris or New York. There is a street (actually 3 or 4 blocks) which is referred to as the "unaffordable street". We saw many well known stores: Mont Blanc, Louis Vuitton, Ferrari, Maserati, Tiffany, etc. We spent 3.5 days in Vienna, visiting the ...

... yard. When we were all finally hungry we walked back into town to Hotel Gasthaus Brau for supper. We had an appetizer called Schlutzkrapferl which was like potstickers stuffed with cottage cheese and spinach and covered with butter. It was full of Austrians and they seem to be enjoying themselves. The meal was okay – I had fish but as you can tell it wasn’t outstanding. Doesn’t matter. Back in the room for planning for tomorrow and it doesn’t seem that noisy after all thank goodness.

... We headed back to the Hotel Gosthof Brau for supper. Tonight Erin had Grostl, Derek had Schnitzle Cordon Bleu, and Larry and I shared a Brauhautfand'l and I had a mixed salad. For dessert we shared one apple strudel. When we got back I got two loads of laundry ready and went down to do it but the laundry was locked. Bummer! We all blogged etc. while listening to German music we brought with us. Then it was time for bed.
