... those you see in a Hollywood movie, through some guard posts, down a poorly made road, past armed soldiers, onto a long bridge into no mans land (over a river), past some more soldiers then a bit of barbed wire and then you arrive at a check point to sort your paperwork out to enter Turkey.
It was how I imagined all border crossing to be like until I went to South America.
... about the country. A 20 minute stop for coffee and WC break as we now head towards Gallipoli and the ANZAC area. This rive takes us alongside the water we know as the Dardanelles and past the small town of Gelibolu, the name that was taken and became Gallipoli for this area.
