We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

Today we arrived in the Greek Island of Corfu. It was quite rocky over night and when we arrived in Corfu it was rainy and overcast. Today's tour included the highlights of Corfu and wine tasting. We went to the monastery of the Virgin Mary first. I must admit there were a few times I said a few prayers when I could look out the bus straight down the cliff. ... good fun though. George called us back onto the boat for some lunch, which was an awesome spread to especially since we just worked up an appetite in the water. We had ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber, olives, bread, tarziki & the yummiest hot chips. The sanga was huge but amazing :-D the tarziki made it dats for sure! We headed off to our next swim stop.
