... so close, we decided to head back to her place for some dinner and then return to the festival. Unfortunately, Inga wasn't feeling so well when we got back to her house so I headed back to the festival myself. There I met up with Robin, Katrina, Helga and Maria (all au pair friends). As the title suggests, today was the day that we met up with our long term friends from England the Berrills and toured the famous Rijkt museum in Amsterdam. Approximately one third of the size of the Louvre, we managed to walk through almost all of the catacombs of art which included paintings by Van Gogh and Monet.

... which was a pretty quick process. After the 20 minute train ride we grabbed a taxi van for the last mile drive to the houseboat. I'm not quite sure of the dimensions of this is about 50'x15' or about 750 sq.ft. more than enough to call home for the three days while we explore Amsterdam and Deventer.
Deb's not doing very good. She's been confined to her bed since we arrived - having both lunch and dinner in bed. ...
