    ... tourist information office was very helpful as we came away with an updated map and some recommendations of cheap eats. We had lunch at Georg which was a canteen style place. Afterwards we looked for Red Tower and found it but it was looking a bit rundown (and also shut).     ... atop Toompea Hill. It was established in 1900 and the cathedral is now a main place of worship for Estonia’s Russian Orthodox faith.

    The fascinating anomaly of this place is that threaded through the Old Town are cutting-edge restaurants, stylish shopping, cafes and clubs. Modern day Tallinn is also known as a high-tech city with free wireless internet available practically everywhere and Estonia is known as the country that invented Skype.

    What a cool place. Its very different to where I've been so far this holiday. The roads are wide an plenty of cycle paths. The houses are ace too. Popped down to the beach which was like something out of Miami. Really nice sunset and the tide was out which left a pretty cool pattern in the sand. Couple of pictures for sure! Found some great street art too! Big fan. Tomorrow the final long distance coach ride to Riga. Very excited. Here's a few pics from ...
