This was to be my last day in Berlin, and I decided that I wanted to see some art. That doesn't happen often at all, and it usually doesn't last long, but it happens. I don't have the attention span required to appreciate art in the way that some people can. That being said, sometimes trying can be fun.
I decided upon the Gemäldegalerie …
I woke up the next morning and things were already looking brighter in more ways than one. For the first time since my arrival, the skies were crystal clear and the temperature was livable. I'd get to see some outdoors stuff. Yay!
Taking a queue from my time in London, I opted to try out the NewEurope (free) tour of Berlin, as I had …

This appears to have been an apartment building during the Communist era in East Berlin. Although spacious enough, my room was very oddly shaped, being about 7 feet across and 20 feet long. The washroom was the same. Prices were reasonable and being a 5 minute walk from the Alexanderplatz (central transportation hub) makes it great for getting around.
