... fries(fancy style) and Ash had spaghetti bolognaise. The dishes were expensive, mine costing about $30 and Ash's costing $25 but what shocked us even more was the €6 each bottle of coke we had with it. That's $18 for two bottle of coke! And no the bottles weren't gold! And no there was no alcohol in the drink either. Massive rip off! Luckily the food was good otherwise I'd have been really spewing! Our last night in Europe. We skied for a bit more before stopping for lunch outside in the ...

This took us above 2000m above sea level and we could see right across the other side of ...

... took a good 30minutes to arrive! Eventually we got our ski passes and jumped in a taxi to our hotel. We were wondering just how much it was going to cost! I was hoping less that €50! Luckily it only came to €25 so I was pretty happy about that and the taxi driver was great, telling us all about the area. The hotel was lovely, a huge spacious room and a fantastic view of the mountains. What more could you ...

... contains paintings by Caravaggio - the fancy shopping streets which were not very backpacker friendly but did house the offices and factory of my hero Velentino!! Overlooking the whole Tridente area is a lovely park called Trinita dei Monti where I ate lunch and took in the sights and sounds of this marvellous city - pity I was interrupted by the horrible selfie stick and flower sellers. Exploring this area during the day was brilliant and very beautiful at night ...
