    Back when I was much younger, I loved flying on airplanes. We actually used to get all dressed up for flights and I found the entire process rather exciting! Not so much any more! :-). We have had a very long day - and we're only half way through it! Took a shuttle to Logan from Laurie and John's house in Oakland, Maine, leaving there at noon on Friday. Arrived at Logan with plenty of time to catch our 6:00 flight.

    ... we got back it was dark, and a music festival was going on in Saint Marco's Square. We all went over to dance, and not long after were boys asking us to dance. One of them tried to get me to do some sort of ballroom dancing with him (I have no idea how to ballroom dance!) but it ended up being really fun and we had a blast. The bus ride back home wasn't that fun but we all slept most of the way home which made it much easier! ...

    ... back to the hotel to grab our bags and head to the cruise ship. The trip to the terminal from our hotel to the dock via the monorail transit was efficient but unfortunately from there it got tough. There were four cruise liners leaving that afternoon and ours was the furthest away and had the least amount of signage. we had multiple false turns and it took a good thirty minutes of walking around the midday sun to find the place ...
