You may be wondering why I titled this post eat-aly, I am convinced that the itlians are determined to send me home with a little extra weight. The food is one of the best parts of experiencing Italy, but they also think that they need to stuff you to the brim with pasta. :) haha I love Italians. Granted there ware lots of different types of pasta and suaces and meats, and then there is the pizza, ...

As I said before I am terrible at this blog thing. We have been in Italy for two weeks now and have enjoyed it very much! Saying goodbye to Ireland and the people we met was bittersweet. ... we woke up early to beat the line at St. Mark's Basilica. It didn't quite work. We wound up waiting in an enormous line, but we met a Rick Steves look-alike and had a great conversation with him and his wife that made the hour-long wait seem like minutes. Ron and Nancy were great company, and we all discussed the state of the union, art, and the price of gondolas. Ron had been studying Byzantine art pointed out a corner piece of the cathedral depicting four figures, ...

... So to pass time at the station I; cut my toe nails, painted them, dried my damp towels, slept, read a book, did some Sudoko puzzles, ate and drank. Finally arrived in Montagnana and found the hostel. It has moved from a previous location, but all the signs in town still point to the old location. I buzzed the buzzer and was told I couldn't check in until 5!!!! It was now 2pm, I was ****** off and irritated, on the web site it didn't say ...
