      Arrived safely after a great flight from Australia. Traveled business class with Singapore and get 10/10 for service and great food. Transferred to Lufthansa and again good service but beds not as comfortable. First day just wandered around Manchester and got our bearings. Busy place and very industrial.       Woke to lovely day. Drove over to Wilmslow and ended up in the middle of a supercar show. Hundreds of people but interesting to see. Definitely in a bubble here. Called in for a cuppa with Colin and Christine. A quick walk to the Edge for clear views to Manchester and the Pennines. Dinner at home tonight with Malcolm and Joan and John. Good to catch up.
