We went on a walking tour based on a map from the reception of the hostel. It took about 3 hours, half of which was spent in the park playing cards. ... and then took the train back to Wipkingen. Moment of panic....Robert got off train and then the door shut before we all got off and we had to go to main station and catch the next train to Wipkingen and Robert waiting.
Back to the house fixed appetizers of olives, pate, olive bread, brocolli, and cheese and wine and then Stefan fixed a delicious rattatouile. Lots of visiting and then off to bed.
Walked first thing then breakfast. Shopped in the morning and bought lovely scarf and jewellery for Laura. Walked miles to find choc shop but couldn't find it. Rested by river and sweated so much left wet patches on concrete seat. FouNd Jack Jones and bought for Jacob plus cool undies for the boys. ...
... a visit to the Rhein Falls which was just a short drive away on the German border. It was a spectacular way to spend our last afternoon in this beautiful country. Tomorrow we head back to Paris and then to Tours in the Loire Vallley. We may not have web access once we leave Switzerland, so this could very well be the last blog post we will have the opportunity to write.
