          ... for example the streets are still deep powdery sand, so everyone uses the beach as the main thoroughfare.

          Arnold and me gave up our air conditioned room to Mel and Franco. Mel had been badly bitten at the last place. In addition to a lot of little bites (looks like a rash she had so many), she also had a blister the size of a 5p. She was a bit down and needed a bit of TLC.

          ... into sunlight. They continued on over some cliff faces and eventually stumbled on beach 5. Getting late and dark they enjoyed a short time there before trekking back through the now mozzie and weird bug ridden jungle to their pousada where the guy admitted with a giggle that there was actually one turn you’re supposed to go right! Boiling hot and thirsty the boys cracked a schinny (their new favourite beer) and went for a dusk swim.
